In honor of my best friend and his bride, this post is for them. Backstory: I had just got out of back surgery and was in full recovery mode, when my phone started blowing up on this day at around 7am. Turned out my BFF Marvin was calling to tell me the photographer they hired got into an accident and is scrambling to find someone ASAP! I was in a dilemma: heal my back or carry around heavy gear and capture this important moment for Marvin and his bride Rachel?

Let’s just say, I didn’t have to get him a wedding present AND I was able to still be a guest at the reception!

This is a special post. Last Friday I had a drink and some dinner with Marvin after so long just to find out that he and Rachel were moving their family to lay roots down in Marysville, CA. Proud of him and their new found home, this would be a good time to honor them with an anniversary post (albeit, a few days late, LOL).
